A century
of golf.
Founded in 1920 on what is now some of the most peaceful land in greater London. Walk into the clubhouse and you can feel it.
Established
nineteen twenty.
Crews Hill opened its first nine holes in 1920 on quiet farmland north of Enfield. The course was laid out by Harry Shapland Colt, by then already the most accomplished British architect of his generation, designer of Sunningdale's New, Wentworth's East and West, and the routings at Muirfield and Royal Portrush.
A century on, the Colt routing remains intact. The oaks have grown into themselves, the bunkers and greens have been respected through every renovation, and the spirit of the place, a members' club run by its members, is unchanged.
